Mom Koser's German Chocolate Cake Cookies

  • 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. pudding included German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • chopped nuts, if desired
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute, then remove from cookie sheet.
If making this at altitudes above 3500 ft., add 1/4 c. flour to dry cake mix. Bake as directed.
