Easy Tuna Pasta

Yield: Serves 4
  • 12 oz. macaroni or elbows
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can condensed chicken broth
  • 2-3 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 cans tuna
  • grated parmesan cheese
  1. Cook and drain pasta. In large saucepan, heat butter and oil and cook garlic until golden. Add broth and basil; heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Add tuna with liquid and simmer 2 minutes more, stirring gently to break up meat. Stir in pasta and top with cheese.
Nothing fancy, but not bad, and very easy to put together.
