Crab Mac 'n' Cheese

Yield: Serves 6
  • 1 lb. macaroni
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 12 oz. evaporated milk
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 oz. crab meat
  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and set aside. Grease 9x13" casserole dish and heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine salt, flour, mustard, pepper, sour cream, eggs and milk; whisk very well. Layer half the macaroni in casserole dish, half the cheese and half the crab; repeat layers. Pour flour mixture on top and bake uncovered 30 minutes.
Very good! I like to serve it with extra salt and pepper.
