I liked this better than Cat’s Cradle, but it’s still more of an I-respect-it-more-than-I-like-it. The time-travel structure and satire are good. The characters are fine. I know Vonnegut is considered to be a humorous writer; I guess we have different senses of humor. I’m having a hard time verbalizing what I didn’t like; Vonnegut just doesn’t click for me. I don’t think I’ll be reading any more of his books. So it goes.
